"Seasons Come, Seasons Go" Restored

Seasons Come, Seasons Go

Peregrine

The sculpture at the entrance to the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History, "Seasons Come, Seasons Go," was damaged by vandals. The bandit(s) stole the Peregrine Falcon piece, using force to rip it from the upraised hands of the Native American depicted in the piece.

Thanks to local artists who contributed pieces of their beautiful work to an auction held last fall at the Museum and participants who bid generously, the falcon has been replaced. Security measures will soon be in place (if they aren't already when this article is published) to protect the sculpture.

Mark Greenaway, the artist who originally had created the sculpture, made the beautiful replacement falcon.

Not only does the entire sculpture represent the beauty of human spirit and the animals we are fortunate enough to have among us, it celebrates the beauty of nature.
