A Sampling of What the Morro Bay Officers
Were Taking Care of For Us Last Month

Between January 1st —30th, the Morro Bay Police Department logged over 1066 calls.  Here is a sampling of what was going on. 

January 1—Burglary-2nd Degree on Morro Bay BoulevaRoad.  Twenty year old female arrested for burglary.

January 2—Burglary-2nd Degree on Main Street.  Report of a burglary to a business. 

January 3—Petty Theft on Quintana Road.  31 year old female arrested for shoplifting.  Cited and released in the field. 

January 4—Burglary-1st Degree on Alder Avenue.  Report of a burglary. 

January 5—Vandalism $400 or more on Embarcadero.  Vandalism to a parked vehicle. 

January 6—Petty Theft on Atascadero Road.  Female juvenile was arrested for petty theft at MBHS and released to her mother. 

January 7— Draw/Exhibits on Morro Bay Boulevard.  Male arrested for brandishing a knife. 

January 11—Sexual on Atascadero Road.  Victim reported a known male sexually assaulting her. 

January 12—Petty Theft on Quintana Road.  Victim reports theft of a red wagon from in front of Albertson's. 

January 13—Petty Theft on Embarcadero.  Theft of a wallet from unlocked vehicle. 

January 14—Petty Theft on Atascadero Road.  Theft report of an IPOD Touch from MBHS. 

January 16—Burglary-1st Degree on Main Street.  Reported burglary of a local business. 

                    Petty Theft on Quintana Road.  Female was arrested for petty theft and misdemeanor arrest warrant. 

January 18—Petty Theft on Greenwood Avenue.  Theft of a cell phone from an unlocked vehicle. 

                    Receiving/Concealing Stolen Property on Hemlock Avenue.  22 year old male arrested for possession of stolen property. 

January 19— Receive/Concealing Stolen Property on Hemlock Avenue.  Citizen reports a prowler entered their residence and fled when discovered.  Twenty-two year old male was arrested for prowling, unlawfully entering a residence, possession of stolen property, and public intoxication. 

January 22—Petty Theft on Quintana Road.  Male arrested for shoplifting. 

January 23—Burglary-2nd Degree on Embarcadero.  Live crab was stolen from container at business.
