What If?
By Richard Hannibal
Scientists, world religions, and mystics all say that for every action there is a reaction. On the 'street' we hear, "What goes around comes around."
Suppose you take a grain of sand and drop it into the ocean. Forget about the reason you would do such a thing. Just focus on the end result. Every drop of water in all the oceans must move in some way to make room for this one grain of sand. The scientists say there is no mathematical or physical possibility of anything else. Since energy is irresistible and ceaseless, an effort of some sort must start outward until eventually the entire universe feels—in some way—the effect of that dropped grain of sand.
The energy goes on forever, even though "forever" is hard to perceive. Albert Einstein said that space is finite and circular and nothing proceeds in straight lines. If he was right, then eventually the effect of the cause must return to where it started from.
Now back to our analogy, "What goes around comes around."
What if, in fact, every little thing you do subtly alters the course of world history? What if your day-to-day thoughts and actions affect how the human species navigates its way through the epic turning point we're living in? What if you are a pebble thrown into a pond and your ripples extend out forever.
What if . . .?
