A Sampling of What the Morro Bay Officers
Were Taking Care of For Us Last Month

Between March 1st through March 30th, the Morro Bay Police Department logged over 1270 calls.
Here is a general sampling of what was going on.
March 5th—Morro Bay Boulevard. Petty Theft - Officers took a report of a theft of a wallet.
March 6th—Balboa Street. Officers took a report of a fraudulent use of a credit card.
March 7th—Del Mar Elementary. Petty theft - Victim reported theft from his vehicle.
March 11th—Atascadero Road. Officers took a report of a burglary.
March 15th— Quintana Road. Petty Theft - 72 year old male was detained for shoplifting. No prosecution desired.
March 18th—Petty theft on Olive Street. Petty Theft - Victim reported a theft from his vehicle.
March 21st—Exhibits deadly weapon on Atascadero Road. Students brandishing knives at school.
March 23rd—Battery on Police Officer on Shasta Avenue. 60 year old women arrested for pubic intoxication, resisting and obstructing a peace officer and battery on peace officer.
Atascadero Road / Morro Bay High School. Petty Theft - IPhone from a classroom.
March 24th—Fresno Avenue. Embezzles/Steals - Report of a fiduciary crime against an elder adult.
March 28th—Atascadero Road. Vandalism - Report of vandalism of less than $400 to a motorcycle.
Embarcadero Road. Petty Theft - Cell phone taken from a local sport fishing store.
Like every place in the world, Morro Bay has its share of crime.
