Between April 1st thru April 29, the Morro Bay Police Department had over 742 logged calls. Here is a listing of just a few of them.
April 1--Damage to religious property on Piney Way. Officers took a report of a vandalism.
Vandalism $400 or more damage on Whidbey Street. Report of vandalism to vehicle.
April 2--Grand Theft exceeding $400 on Coral Avenue. Theft of a digital camera from unlocked vehicle.
April 3--Burglary-2nd Degree on Emarcadero. Male arrested for shoplifting.
April 6--Petty Theft on Formosa Street. Officers took a report.
April 12--Petty Theft on Laurel Avenue. Officers took a report of theft of a plant.
April 13--Vehicle taken without owners consent on Seaview. Suspect also removed a McCaw from the residence without permission.
April 14--Burglary 2nd Degree on Java Street. Unknown subject entered unlocked door of a residence and stole prescribed medications.
April 15--Burgalry 1st Degree on Dogwood Avenue. Officers took a report of a burglary.
April 16--Grand Theft exceeding $400 on Morro Bay Boulevard. A wallet was stolen from an out-of-town visitor at Anchor Inn.
April 17--DUI Alcohol on Preston Lane. Thirty-four year old mail arrested for driving under the influence.
Battery on Tide Avenue. 22 year old male arrested for battery. Twenty-seven year old male arrested for public intoxication and was cited and released for SLO County Ambulance.
April 19--DUI Drugs on Main Street. Male arrested for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of marijuana.
Disorderly conduct on Morro Bay Boulevard. Fifty-one year old male arrested for public intoxication and booked into SLO County Jail.
Petty theft on Kennedy Way. Theft from a vehicle.
April 24--Grand theft exceeding $400 on Orcas. Theft from a vehicle.
April 25--Petty theft on Tide Avenue. Theft of a camera from an unlocked vehicle.
Petty theft on Whidbey Avenue. Theft from an unlocked vehicle.
