The program features four panels to be held throughout the day on 1) the proposed expansion of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary to cover the San Luis Obispo County coast, 2) the 10-year history of the Coastal Alliance on Plant Expansion related to the Morro Bay Power Plant, 3) the long struggle over sludge land application in the county, and 4) a presentation by the Empower Poly Coalition of sustainability-related organizations and student-run clubs with interest in environmental justice, human rights, and a healthy lifestyle.
