SLO Public Libraries

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun. Kristine Tardiff, 805 528-1862
Special Olympics Special Olympis offers a range of opportunities to volunteers! We need people to go out to weekly practices and help organize and teach the athletes different sports and skills. We also need behind the scenes help with administrative needs, fundraising and special events. There is something for everyone and no experience is needed! Jody Watty, 805 544-6444
