Morro Bay Library Events by Christine Johnson

Thank you, Morro Bay for helping the Friends of the Library to raise nearly $4,000 for your Morro Bay Library at the August Used Book Sale.  So many of you found time to shop the sale last month.  These funds will go directly to the library for materials, books, and new technology.  Thanks for supporting your Morro Bay Library and we'll see you at the next sale on Saturday, November 5 at the Morro Bay Community Center.  Read More   (Seriously - read more. Morro Bay Police Department File

In a four-week period, the Morro Bay Police Department responded to 1,281 calls for service, made 29 arrests, and generated 100 case reports.  The primary charges were as follows: (2) Out county felony warrants, (7) Driving under the influence, (2) Domestic violence, (7) Local misdemeanor warrants, (5) Disorderly conduct/drunk public, (1) Disturbing the peace, (1) Providing alcohol to minor, (1) Assault with deadly weapon, (1) Disobedience to a Court Order, (1) Possession of hashish, and (1) Driving with a Suspended Driver License.  Read More
