Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Marine Mammal Rescue

Volunteers are needed to help rescue and care for marine mammals found on our shores. The Marine Mammal Center, a non-profit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and releases injured, sick and orphaned marine mammals will hold an Introduction meeting Wednesday, January 9 at 6:30 pm.
