Between February 1st — 28th, the Morro Bay Police Department logged over 1075 calls. Here is a sampling of what was going on.
February 2nd—Petty Theft on BernaRoado Avenue. Theft of a diving flashlight.
February 4th—Petty Theft on Quintana. 23 year old female arrested with a prior conviction. Possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violation and felony warrant.
February 6th—Misc. Incident at Morro Rock. Three males from Hanford were arrested for climbing the Rock. All were released at the scene on their signed promise to appear.
February 8th—Petty Theft on Atascadero Road. Theft of bicycle grips from a bike while parked at MBHS.
Burglary 2nd Degree on Main Street. Took a report of a theft of a money order.
February 11th—Petty Theft on Quintana Road. 17 year old female was arrested for shoplifting and released to a parent.
February 12th—Vandalism less than $400 on Morro Bay Boulevard. Report of vandalism to car.
February 16th—Vandalism on Harbor Street. Report of punctured vehicle tire.
February 22nd—Petty Theft on Front Street. Theft of $500 from unattended purse.
Petty Theft on Quintana Road. 40 year old male shoplifted from grocery store. Store manager did not want to press charges.
Indecent Exposure on Pacific Street. 31 yr old male arrested for indecent exposure, disturbing the peace and public intoxication.
February 23rd—Grand Theft on Embarcadero. Theft of a jacket which contained victim’s wallet. Suspect utilized victim’s credit card to purchase over $1000 in merchandise.
