February 8 - March 29, 12:30pm on Tuesdays Creative Writing Class Morro Bay Community Center. Take your Creative Writing to another level! Instructor Christine Neilson, publisher of ViVace Literary Journal, will help you gain skills to move you closer to publication. There will be in class exercises, selective poetry, prose and non-fiction readings and discussions and introduction to writers group format. $100 plus materials for eight week class. February 12, 9:00am to 6:00pm In Love With Cayucos - Come Outside and Play

A Cayucos Land Conservancy  event, featuring expert-led coastal walks, kayak excursions, a bus tour, a sketch walk, birding hikes, and more followed by a barbeque lunch at the Cayucos Veteran's Hall. Activities about natural habitats, history, conservation, and understanding our rural neighborhoods.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children.Call  995-1972.

February 19 Cambria Pine Trees Walk Fiscalini Ranch in Cambria. Come walk with Brad Seek and learn about our remarkable Cambrian pine forest. He will enlighten us on the life-cycle of the Pines. He will explain why our weather in Cambria has contributed to this unique species of pine tree. Call 927-2202 for reservations. Website
February 26 Western Dance Jamboree Vets' Hall and the Joslyn Center in Cambria. Workshops taught by world class dance instructors. The Saturday night dance begins at 7:00 pm with foot stomping music lasting until 11:00. Bring out your inner heehaw and join dancers from all over Central California. Looking Ahead to Next Month

March 5, 10:00 - 5:00 Cayucos Sea Glass Festival Calling all Sea Glass enthusiasts! The Cayucos Chamber of Commerce invites you to our inaugural Cayucos Sea Glass Festival in the Vet's Hall. 25 vendors will show off their beautiful and creative uses for sea glass, and there will be an exciting silent auction.

A "Taste of Cayucos" with live music and local food, wine and beer will be held in a tent next door, overlooking the Pacific.

Admission is $2 (cash only at the door) and we hope to see you!
