Dear Editor,

From: Angela Williams
Morro Bay, CA

YES!! YES!! YES!! YES!! YES!! I love the straight forward, no nonsense, spot on commentary from the As Seen From My Couch column (June). In Sandra Beebe we finally have someone watching the city council meetings and tells it like it is. Morro Bay is being run into the ground by greedy businessmen and crooked politicians. At last someone has the good sense and balls to say it with no punches pulled. Go Girl, Go!!!

My partner and I just can't wait to read Sandra Beebe's commentary every month in the Journal. This time we were all laughing and She gets better and better. My mom says she is a "real spitfire." Whatever you call her, just everyone read her. Finally we get to know what these people in small town politics are really like.

As a transplanted kiwi who still has property and heart in Los Osos, the SLO Coast Journal is a lifeline. Thank to your photographers for the fresh images of familiar places, the writers for their insights and news, and to your editor for creating this publication.

Would you hippies stop it with the Go Green recycle wash once a month aren't the otters cute crap! Get to some reality, get your president out of our faces, and let the real men get this country back to sanity.

How refreshing to get real, behind the scenes, intelligent coverage of political and other scandalous goings-on. You're giving us real, gutsy coverage that can't be had anywhere else. Keep up the good work.

Great surfing column. Kudos. Keep 'em coming.

Why cover only a small part of the county? The wife and I read the Journal and keep hoping for expansion to our neck of the woods. Will there be county-wide coverage anytime soon? We love the fresh outlook, the variety of topics, and your eclectic mix of minds. Our favorites include news from Jack McCurdy and Kari Olsen, birding from Mike Stiles, and your good Doctor Sainsbury's wise advice.  All the beautiful photographs make "turning" each page exciting.  The "Great Shots" section is terrific! Best local coverage anywhere. Thanks so much.

[Note from Editor: We have had quite a few requests to expand our coverage throughout San Luis Obispo county or, at the very least, to all of the county's coastal towns. While we certainly appreciate the interest, it just isn't possible right now. Perhaps someday . . . we'll let you know.]
