  Independence Day Celebration Cambria, is held at Shamel Park 10am-10pm with fun family events, music and barbeque all day long. A spectacular fireworks display begins at dusk and will light up the sky for miles along the coast. Call 927-5010 after 5:00 pm

Middle School Cross Country Academy

Chuck Ogle, Coach of the Los Osos Middle School Cross Country Team and former Morro Bay High School and collegiate runner will be instructing an introduction to the sport of cross country running focusing on students interested in joining a cross country team or club in middle school.  The academy is open to students entering 7th and 8th grades and will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, August 16th – August 27th from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Lila Keiser Park.  The cost is $45.00 (non Morro Bay residents add $4.00) Call 772-6278.  Registration Online
