Dear Slo Coast Journal:

Like your Journal but would like to see some stuff about the people who live here. Kind of like what that guy in the Sun-Bulletin writes. Hire him.

Response: Unfortunately, Stan Thompson, the writer you referred to, passed away over a year ago. We'd love to have someone to do the same type of feature articles and will find that writer soon. Keep checking back.

More sports! Your guy is great!

The pictures on every page are fantastic! I feel like I'm taking a tour of the coast every month when I come back to read the latest issue. Do you take submissions because I have friends who probably have some pictures they would want on your website?

Response: The easiest way for anyone wanting to submit their photos for consideration is to join Slo Coast Journal Flickr group and add images.

Another great issue. My wife and I love Best Friends. This month we were inspired to go adopt a dog. We didn't find the right one, but are going back each weekend till we have the right guy. We want to encourage others to go there too. The staff is friendly and it is always a good time to add some love to your life.
