Taking Care of in October

Between October 1st thru October 28, the Morro Bay Police Department had 690 logged calls.

October 2- Battery on Atascadero Road.  Two Juveniles involved in an altercation at the Morro Bay High School football game. 

October 3- Assault with a deadly weapon on Main Street.  Forty-one year old male arrested for public intoxication and assault with a  deadly weapon. 

    Disorderly Conduct on Beach Street.  Twenty-five year old male arrested for public intoxication and booked into County Jail. 

    Tampering with vehicle on Atascadero Road.  License plate was stolen from rear of a vehicle.

October 4- Disorderly Conduct on Front Street. Fifty year old man arrested for public intoxication at the Harbor Festival.

    DUI on Main Street.  Forty-one year old man arrested for driving under the influence.

    Vandalism of $400 or more on Morro Avenue.  Unknown subject keyed vehicle.

    Burglary 2nd Degree on Embarcadero Road.  Victim reported vessel was burglarized and a bottle of alcohol was taken.

October 5- Petty Theft on Atascadero Road.  Theft of a wallet & cell phone from a school gym was reported. 

      Grand Theft on Pacific.  Theft of a truck bed liner from utility trailer.

October 7- Petty theft on Bernardo Avenue.  Theft from an unlocked vehicle.

October 8- Annoying or Molesting child on Monterey Avenue. Male juvenile was inappropriately touched by an adult male.  Still under investigation

      Public Accident on Harbor Street.  Male fell on sidewalk.  Report was taken

October 9- Danger to self/others on Atascadero Road.  Sixty-five year old man transported to Sierra Vista Hospital and referred to County Health Dept.

October 10- Disorderly Conduct on Quintana Road.  Man arrested for public intoxicated.

    Driving while suspended/DUI on Monterey Avenue.  Woman arrested for driving under the influence and a suspended license.

October 12- Attempted Auto Burglary in State Park Road.  Two Hispanic males attempted to break into locked vehicle in parking lot of a local hotel. 

October 15- Forgery Falsification of records on Fairview.  Victim notified bank of a fraudulent charge on her visa credit caRoad.  Investigation revealed a possible scam. 

October 16- Battery on Embarcadero Road.  Thirty-seven year old man placed under citizen’s arreStreet.  

October 17- Inflict corporal injury on Hemlock Avenue.  Report of a domestic disturbance between husband and wife. 

October 18- Disorderly Conduct on Main Street. Man arrested for public intoxication. 

October 19- Disorderly Conduct on Main Street.  Twenty-one year old man arrested for public intoxication and booked in County Jail. 

October 23- DUI Alcohol/Drugs on Atascadero Road. Stopped for traffic violations.  Man arrested and booked in County Jail. 

October 24- Found Property on Embarcadero.  Mans black wallet was found and brought to police department. 

October 28- Attempted Auto Burglary on Napa Avenue. Unidentified attempt to break into locked vehicle.
