Friends of the Library Book Sale at the Morro Bay Community Center
The first book sale of 2014 was a great success! $4,644 was raised for the Library remodel project. Thanks to all volunteers and members of the community who participated! Our final book sale before closing for the remodel is Saturday April 26th. Put it on your calendar and stock up with good books at great bargains!
Other book sale dates are contingent on the remodel. So, be sure to get to the scheduled sales to pick up books, DVDs, and CDs at great prices. You'll help the Library Remodel Project at the same time!

2014 will be a banner year for our library. The Morro Bay Friends of the Library would like to thank all our donors, volunteers and communities for their support of the remodel plans. Because of you we are close to having the funds to start construction! There is still time for you you to be a part of making our new library a reality! Click HERE to donate to the fund. There are still some naming opportunities available!
Until further notice, all the usual events and programs will be available at the Morro Bay Library.
Tuesdays from 10:00-10:40 AM is our Pre-School Story time. Join us for stories and music!
We would like to give a special thank you to our wonderful neighbors: Coalesce, the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce, and St. Timothy’s Catholic Church for working with all of us during this transition time. We value knowing how much they are willing to be there for us when the Library moves to the interim location, and we are grateful for their support.

Morro Bay Friends of the Library hold regular book sales to raise funds for the library. Friends also provide volunteers to support library services and operations, publish a quarterly newsletter and maintain awareness of library needs and services throughout the community.
