The Morro Bay Museum of Natural History library has a number of VHS tapes, and we'd like to evaluate whether a few of them are worth converting to DVD, at an expense. We also have a few VHS tapes at the Museum back desk, but no functioning VHS player. Does anyone have a VHS player that still works that they would be willing to put on loan or donate to the Museum? Stranded in Morro Bay- October 26
Please come and play while you support interpretation and education in our local state parks for our first "Stranded in Morro Bay" on Saturday, October 26-4-6 pm. Taste wine, beer and appetizers from local wineries, breweries and restaurants while you listen to the Sunny Knights play swing music.
This will be held "under the big top" at Morro Strand State Beach Campground. Tickets will be available on our website, CCSPA, or from Mary Golden, or at the front desk of the Museum of Natural History at Morro Bay State Park.
Please remember that Morro Strand State Beach was on the permanent closure list two years ago, and the funding crisis for state parks has not gone away. Show your support for your parks while being our guest and having a blast!
