The Morro Bay Museum of Natural History is hostinging "Art for Art's Sake," an event at the museum set for the evening of November 3rd.  There will be wine and food tastings and music for a lovely evening. Donated works of local artists will be auctioned to raise money for the repair of the Native American sculpture located at the entrance of the museum. Read More

One highlight is the fabulous Friends of the Library Book Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, November 5.  This is the final sale of 2011.  Help us break the $4,000 mark!  Books make the best gifts for the holidays!

It's election time!  All Friends members are invited to the Annual Membership Meeting and Elections on Friday, November 18.  Your civic participation will be rewarded with lunch from Shine Café.
