Between July 1st and July 20th, the Morro Bay Police Department had more than 810 logged events to respond to for us.
July 3 - Burglary, 2nd Degree: A sitting Buddha was taken from a business on Morro Bay Boulevard.
July 7 - Battery: Two juveniles were involved in a physical altercation on Quintana Road.
July 8 - Burglary: 1st Degree on Morro Bay Boulevard - Suspect was a 22-year-old male.
Vandalism $400 or more: Morro Bay Surf Shop
July 10 - Petty Theft: Someone took a cell phone and a calling card from an unlocked truck on Morro Avenue.
July 12 - Under Influence of Controlled Substance: There was a disturbance on Fresno Street by a man breaking glass windows and yelling. He tried to flee, but the parolee was apprehended and arrested.
July 17 - DUI: A man arrested on Morro Bay Boulevard for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Disorderly Conduct: Another man on Morro Bay Boulevard was also arrested for being intoxicated. He also had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.
July 18 - DUI: A man arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol near the intersection of State Park Road and South Bay Boulevard.
July 19 - Battery on Police Officer: A man on Morro Bay Boulevard tried to resist arrest while under the influence and in possession of marijuana.
