A Sampling of What the Morro Bay Officers
Were Taking Care of For Us Last Month

Between December 1 through December 30, the Morro Bay Police Department logged over 914 calls.  Here is a sampling of what was going on. 

December 4 - Threatening/resisting executive director on Quintana Road.  A39-year-old male was arrested for felony obstruction and resisting an executive officer's arrest.  Booked into SLOCJ.

Burglary-2nd Degree on Morro Bay BoulevaRoad.  Theft of Toys for Tots donation money jar.  Male arrested and booked into SLOCJ few days later. 

December 10 - Battery on Atascadero Road.  Juvenile student attacked another juvenile student with complaint of pain only.

            Disorderly Conduct on Morro Bay BoulevaRoad.  Report of subject knocking on window of a business.  Male, 57, arrested for public intoxication. 

December 11 - Vandalism on Bonita.  Resident of Morro Bay reports vandalism to her TV and entertainment center. 

December 12 - Use another's personal into on Allesandro Street.  Report of an identity theft, grand theft and unlawful use of a credit caRoad. 

December 17 - Burglary-1st Degree on Pico Street.  Late report of a burglary to a residence.  Theft of over $5,500 in items.

Vandalism $400 or more on Pacific Street.  Victim reported two of his vehicles were vandalized by someone placing dirt and an unknown substance into the gas tanks. 

December 18 - Burglary-2nd Degree on Quintana Road.  Officers responded to a shoplifting call.  A female, age 32, was arrested for burglary and booked into SLOCJ.

December 20 - Petty Theft on Quintana Road.  Theft of a cell phone.

December 21 - Deceased person on Coleman Drive.  Subject found deceased on the beach.  Under investigation. 

December 24 - Petty theft on Quintana Road.  Juvenile arrested for shoplifting and possession of a switchblade.  Juvenile was booked into SLO JSC. 

December 26 - Deceased person Hillview Street.  Adult female found deceased appears national causes. 

December 27 - Petty Theft on Mesa Street.  Report of a theft of two cell phones and a digital camera from a residence.
