A Sampling of What Our Officers Have Been
Taking Care of in December

Between December 1st thru December 27th, the Morro Bay Police Department had over 754 logged calls. Here are a few of them.

December 1- Grand Theft exceeding $400 on Estero Street. Subject entered unlocked vehicle and stole victim's purse.

Tampering/injuring vehicle on Embarcadero. Unknown subject broke rear side window of victim's vehicle. Unknown if anything was stolen from inside the vehicle.

Use of credit card on Piney Way. Victim's bankcard was utilized to purchase merchandise at two separate locations.

December 2- Petty Theft on Quintana Road. Theft of a bike from sidewalk in front of Rite Aid.

December 3- DUI Alcohol/Drugs on Highway 41. Female, age 53, arrested for driving while impaired and for violating probation.

December 4- Burglary 1st degree on Market Avenue. Burglary of a residential trailer.

December 5- Burglary 2nd degree on Pacific Street. Vehicle window broken and a GPS was taken.

December 6- Receiving/Concealing stolen property on Morro Bay Boulevard. 30-year-old man was arrested for possession of stolen property and public intoxication.

December 7- Petty theft on Morro Bay Boulevard. Theft of a plant from newly constructed business center.

Fraudulent use of credit card on Los Osos Valley Road. Unknown person used someone else's credit card.

December 8- DUI Alcohol/Drugs on Ironwood. 29-year-old man arrested.

December 11- Disorderly conduct on Harbor Street. Woman, 24 years old, was arrested for public intoxication.

Disorderly conduct on Monterey Avenue. Man, 25 years old, arrested for public intoxication.

December 13- DUI Alcohol/Drugs on Morro Bay Boulevard. Subject stopped for nearly colliding with a patrol vehicle. Man was arrested.

December 15- Battery on Atascadero Road. Juvenile requested charges to be filed on another juvenile.

December 16- Vandalism of $400 or more on Bradley Avenue. Officers took a report of a felony vandalism to a residence.

Tampering/Injuring vehicle on Main Street. Unknown subjects entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a camera.

December 22- Disorderly Conduct on Main Street. 50-year-old man arrested for drunk in public. Booked into the county jail.

Burglary 2nd Degree on Embarcadero. 21-year-old man arrested for shoplifting with a female juvenile. Man was arrested and booked into County Jail, female was released to parents.

December 26- Issuing/Circulating paper on Morro Bay Boulevard. Unknown person passed a counterfeit $20 bill.
