In addition to serving as Mayor of Morro Bay, Janice is a professional photographer, Coordinator of the Winter Bird Festival, and co-author of a new series of childrens books.
It has been an honor and a delight for me to be part of the SLO Coast Journal from its inception a year ago, and I have very much enjoyed writing the columns for this page.
However, with my pending retirement as Mayor in December, one of the things I will be pursuing is writing on my own website/blog. The time seems right now to move my musings so that I am not limited to writing once a month and can cover a greater variety of topics.
