December, 2013       Coastal Fog

Fog can put the happiest person into a funk or serve as an absolute relief from the intense heat of the valley.  It all appears to be each persons perspective at any given moment.  I personally have experienced both.

November, 2013      Coastal Clouds

As a child, I was fascinated with clouds.  There in Ohio they were billowy white and beautiful.  My friends and I would lay on the grass and find images of animals, birds, flowers, and all sorts of things in the puffy whiteness.

October, 2013         Walking the Central Coast

Early mornings bring the awakening of the birds and their calls from the rock.  As the sun slowly makes its way up in the sky everything around stirs to life. The sounds of gulls,  falcons, and other birds fill the air.  Perhaps they are all glad they get to play another day.  I enjoy their accompanying me on my strolls.

September, 2013    Ocean Treasures

Walking along the many paths, streets and walkways of Morro Bay are many expressions of natures gifts to us. Some, such as Morro Rock itself, are simply there to be in awe of when viewed. Others are created by these wonderful people called artists who simply need to express their talents. They are able to take natural things and place them or arrange them or utilize them in such ways that enhance their inherent beauty.
