The Los Osos Community Services District announced last week that it has hired Susan Morro of Pacific Grove as its new general manager effective June 7.

The District said Morrow has served in various management capacities in Pacific Grove, Simi Valley, Aliso Viejo, Torrance and Malibu.

She also has operated her own consulting firm and worked with the Santiago Geologic Hazard Abatement District and Las Tunas Beach Geologic Abatement District.

She has a bachelor's degree in industrial organizational development psychology and a master's in business administration.
Sandi L. Woods will serve as interim general manager until Morro assumes her position. Woods has worked for the District in various capacities since 2001.

The District provides water, drainage, solid waste, fire and medical emergency services and several community septic systems in Los Osos.

More information can be obtained by contacting the District or at 528-9370.
