Cancer Prevention - Part Two

by Dr. Robert Swain

You don't know what you don't know until you know what you didn't know.  I hope to give you information so that you will know what you didn't know.

I previously mentioned some strategies to prevent or help if you already have cancer. (Part One) Here is a more complete list.

Kill Cancer Cells Without Harming Good Cells

Chemotherapy and radiation treatments kill the cancer cells, but also kills healthy cells, sometimes doing more damage than good.

Breathe Deeply and Exhale Fully

Cancer cells love low oxygen levels.  Increase your O2 levels and reduce the risk of cancer.  Improper breathing causes the build up of toxins which causes cancer cells to grow.

Maintain  Normal PH Levels.

Normalizing pH levels can stop cancer in its tracks.

There is plenty of research showing that cancer thrives in an acidic environment and doesn't survive in an normal, more alkaline environment.  The majority of the foods and drinks we consume are acidic — such as meat, grains and sugar — with colas and other soft drinks being highly acidic. So unless you have been eating a very healthy diet full of fresh fruit and vegetables, your body is way too acidic, creating a very good environment for cancer to grow in.  Balance your pH levels and your body can become healthy again.  Lowering the pH also slows the aging process.

Strengthen Your Immune System

A weakened immune system leads to cancer. A strong immune system seeks out and destroys cancer cells.  Thus it is vital to strengthen the immune system so that it can better fight cancer.

Eliminate Candida and Fungal infections

Some doctors theorize that candida or other systemic fungal infections cause or at the very least contribute to the development of cancer.  Cancer is a chronic, infectious, fungus disease.  Grains such as corn, wheat, barley, sorghum, and other foods such as peanuts, are commonly contaminated with cancer-causing fungal poisons called zmycotoxins.  We consume, on average, from 0.15mg to 0.5mg of aflatoxin per day.

Eliminate Toxins

Toxins, including genetically modified foods and chlorine, cause cancer. Reducing toxic overload is vital for eliminating cncer. The increase in cancer is proportional to the increase of chemicals and modified foods being introduced into our bodies.  It is estimated we are exposed to over 80,000 chemical per week.

Stop Drinking Chlorinated Water

What are the chlorinated water and cancer connections?  "We are quite convinced... that there is an association between cancer and chlorinated water." Medical College Of Wisconsin research team. According to the U.S. Council of Environmental Quality, "Cancer risk among people drinking chlorinated water is 93% higher than among those whose water does not contain chlorine."  Chlorine may also be the basic cause of arteriosclerosis, heart attacks and stroke.  Breast cancer, which now affects one in every eight women in North America, has recently been linked to the accumulation of chlorine compounds in the breast tissue. More next issue.

I will follow-up in the next issue with Part Three of strategies for cancer prevention.  If you want the complete documentation of any information in the articles please e-mail me at Robert Swain or call the office at 805-801-6638.  Thank you and have a wonderful and healthy month.
