Dates for Junior Lifeguard Programs 2011 and Scholarships Available

Junior Guards (JG) is a skill-building program emphasizing healthy exercise, teamwork, and FUN. Four Junior Lifeguard Programs are offered this summer in San Luis Obispo County at Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, Morro Bay, and Cayucos Beach. These popular programs offer training in water safety, ocean swimming, lifeguarding skills, and more.

Each program is different, and tryouts consist of swimming laps at different skill levels per age category in local swimming pools. Ages, dates, times, duration, price, and gear and outfits provided vary. Be sure to apply and tryout early as these programs are in demand and fill-up fast.   All 4 Junior Guard programs will be offering some scholarships to their programs.
