Dear Editor,

From: Bill Denneen
Nipomo

Diablo has become a nuclear waste storage site. I was arrested in front of "the devil" in 1978 because they did NOT know what they would do with this terrible legacy.
Store the Nuclear waste in the backyards for CEOs of PG&E  of 1978 that voted FOR the
plant.

Los Osos

Do you people hate Los Osos? Unless you are talking about the sewer, we aren't even mentioned! Not even in the calendar section. What's with that? Los Osos is a great place to live and you make it like we are the poor step-sister to Morro Bay. Get with it and cover this town.

[We would love to give more attention to Los Osos, Steve. You might want to at least give the Chamber of Commerce a nudge to update their website so we can get listings of upcoming events.]

I'm a part timer, spending my summers here. That surf column rocks! Thanks!! And that old coot, Yates, sucks. Keep on his tail! Good job! When he creates a theme park shooting galery on top of the Rock, he and his cronies will be in pig heaven. It's appropriate.

Kansas City

I grew up in San Luis Obispo, then moved with my husband's home in Kansas. Needless to say, it was a big change in my life. I miss so much of the Central Coast. What a thrill to find the Slo Coast Journal! We joined your updates list, but don't really need the reminder. I look forward so much to the next issue that visiting your site is the first thing I do when the calendar changes. The pictures are so very wonderful and I go from page to page, even visiting the ones that don't change much each month just to see the pictures again. When my new friends visit, they get a tour of the Journal just to show off where my real home is. They ooohhh and awwww over the pictures too. My favorites include Best Friends (We love animals and always see two or three in the pictures there we wish we could have!), Great Shots (Amazing, talented photographers!), Sweet Springs (We got married there!), and Surfing. Oh heck, it is all wonderful. The news articles are even amazing. I'm learning so much while feeling almost like I'm back home after going through all the others. Thank you, thank you, thanks!

We're enjoying the Live Music articles. Steve Key is great! We stopped by Mis Lola's Southside Diner in Morro Bay and had an absolutely great meal. The owner was there and even came to out table to welcome us. Nice place!
