The purpose of the Foundation is to facilitate the building, maintenance and/or operation of a year-round Community Aquatics Center on the North Coast of San Luis Obispo County. The Foundation is currently collaborating with the city of Morro Bay, San Luis Coastal Unified School District and county officials in developing a memorandum of understanding to include land use and maintenance agreements for a future aquatics center to be hopefully located in Morro Bay.

The Morro Bay Community Pool Foundation is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation and a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. They are now on Facebook, where updates and future workshops/meetings can be found; "Morro Bay Community Pool." If you would like to volunteer to help the Foundation in reaching their goals, please call our number 772-9019, Extension 3, or send email.

For more information, contact the current public relations chair Karen Croley. You are also encouraged to visit the Foundation website for further information.
