A Sampling of What Our Officers Were
Taking Care of Last Month

Between October 1 tand October 30, the Morro Bay Police Department logged over 1,000 calls.  Here is a sampling of what our fine officers were taking care of. 

October 1—Burglary 2nd Degree on Atascadero Road.  Theft from a hardware store.  The suspect was caught on the video surveillance in the act of the theft.

October 2—Burglary 2nd Degree on  Atascadero Road.  Police were called to a theft suspect that was in the store at the time.   A 42 yr old male was arrested. 

Grand Theft exceeding $400 on Main Street.  Tool a report of a credit card fraud and identity theft.

October 3—Broken window to vacant building on Morro Bay Boulevard.  Citizen reports broken glass plate window to vacant commercial building. 

October 6—Grand Theft exceeding $400 on Embarcadero Avenue.  Officers took a report of a stolen navigation device.

October 8—Vandalism/Graffiti  on Cerrito Place.  An extensive amount of blue and orange colored graffiti sprayed on the rocks of Cerrito Park. 

Take vehicle without consent on Allesandro Street. Citizen reported a stolen automobile. 

False report taken on Allesandro Street.  False report of a felony of misdemeanor, associated to
stolen auto case. 

October 10—Petty Theft on Atascadero Road.  Report of a theft of a wallet. 

October 16—Indecent exposure on Balboa Street. Officers took a report from an individual that received an unwanted pornographic text/pic from an unknown person. 

October 17—Immoral practices/habitual on Mindoro Street.  Child was taken into protective custody after seeing intoxicated mother.  Child was released to the sober father who lives in Paso. 

October 26—Burglary 2nd Degree on Quintana Road.  29 year old female arrested for burglary and petty theft from two spate businesses.  She was transported to SLOCJ. 

October 27—Burglary 2nd Degree on Embarcadero Avenue. Victim reported a theft of property from her boat that is used for entertainment and dinner.
