2010 Morro Photo Expo Winners

The Morro Photo Expo 2010 was held October 23-25 in Morro Bay for three days of instruction and field work to enhance  photographers techniques.  All were invited to enter the MPE photo contest.  The quality of photos submitted was extraordinary, and made it difficult for the MPE judging committee to narrow the field.  We also received excellent images from some of our instructors.  However, we did not judge them with the registrant entries, but did choose an "Instructor's Best" which was awarded to Beth Sargent for her beautiful image "Shadow Riders"  It was thrilling to see the artistry displayed by our participants, and we are looking forward to hosting more contests as we plan our next Morro Photo Expo to be held in Spring 2012.

George Lepp displayed his very creative imagery in his presentation " From Africa to Morro Bay."   Morro Photo Expo is a non-profit organization under the auspices of the Morro Bay Art Association.  Proceeds will benefit the Morro Bay High School Photography Department.

Below are the judging results from the Morro Photo Expo contest. There were 97 entries from 200 photographers.  Click on any image to see the original, larger version.
