Big Brothers Big Sisters / Boys & Girl's Club Big Brothers Big Sisters offers a variety of ways that adults can volunteer to be matched as mentors and friends with children in SLO County who would like a new, positive role model. Morro Bay Community Pool

The Foundation is an organization of individuals, in partnership with participating public and private entities that are committed to raising funds to build and sustain a year-round community aquatics center on the North Coast of San Luis Obispo County. Minimum Volunteer Age: 18

Pacific Wildlife Care (Morro Bay)

PWC's mission is to rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wildlife and return to their natural habitat, orphaned or injured wildlife, and to educate our community to value and respect wildlife and the environment we share with them. They is licensed by the California Department of Fish and Game and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and is an active member of the UC Davis Oiled Wildlife Care Network. PWC's education and outreach volunteers do approximately 100 presentations a year to schools, churches and service organizations in our community.

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Special Olympics Special Olympis offers a range of opportunities to volunteers We need people to go out to weekly practices and help organize and teach the athletes different sports and skills.
